MelterMan: Spring Semester, Sprint 2 Complete

We had an interesting discussion with our instructors today.  We have continually tried to distance ourselves from the somewhat adult themes that inspired some of our artwork, since we are going for an E rating.  We believe the game can stand on it's own and doesn't need gimmicks or risque attention-grabbers in order to be successful.  Our problem was that we got so used to the artwork/setting that we didn't see how much it was conflicting with our goal of getting that E rating.

As of this sprint, our team's goal is to have a fully playable game from front to back with all of our current artwork so we can show it at GDC on March 4th - March 6th.  We are going to be stripping down all art assets that may cause a problem with obtaining an E rating, and changing our setting from a basement of a loving fangirl, to something like a toy factory, to hopefully preserve the innocent nature of our game and distance ourselves from any sort of mature content.

My responsibility will be (again) to assign tasks to the team, assure we are on schedule and do a lot of the minor bug fixing so the design team can work without any hindrances.  From this sprint forward, we will have entirely playable iterations of the game out every two weeks, and we will start to pursue publishing on independent sites, just to get demos and momentum going.
