GameDev: First Post

I will also be updating our progress on our GameDev project, which has yet to be determined by this point.  We have talked a little bit about pitch ideas and we will refine that during class tonight.

I am hoping we don't waste too much time on ideas that don't really make sense for what time frame we have, and we had a meeting over Skype to talk about the things that make a game good, notably identifying the primary thing the player does, what satisfaction they get out of doing that, if it is going to grab peoples' attention, how we can apply some kind of serious theme to it, and whether or not it will remain interesting after a long period of time.

For the most part, no big ideas are developed, and we will most likely focus on one that people like, and have a couple of backups just in case we decide later that our top idea is not feasible.
